Slow Cooker Apple Butter

Apple Butter

Autumn is in the air and I absolutely love it! Our youngest, Sean, just celebrated his fourth birthday on the first day of autumn and we enjoyed a wonderful weekend in the mountains. It was his turn to be king and pick everything we did and ate. Needless to say he loved every minute of it all!

I pulled up two big areas of lettuce last weekend and figured why not try to grow something it those spots. It is still a little early for the pumpkins seeds to go in and squash was the answer. We’ll see if it grows.

Every time I buy bananas they eat them so quickly I don’t have a chance to ever see them ripen enough to use for baking! I finally got smart and got a HUGE bunch of bananas. Success, they weren’t able to eat them all before I got my hands on them. Continue reading
