
I must warn you, this granola is seriously addictive! It all starts with an innocent hand full. And then another, and another…until you have no idea how much you have really eaten. Not that I would know from personal experience. Okay, confession time. I came home from the gym yesterday and kept nibbling while taking pictures of this granola. I did just burn over 1200 calories so it can’t be too bad can it?!

Cinnamon Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, are ya’ll ready?! One of my family’s traditions is a walk after dinner and dessert followed by a tea pot of hot chocolate served with Bailey’s Irish Cream. It warms the body after a cold walk. Keep in mind some years Thanksgiving is in the 70s here in South Carolina, but we walk at night so we still need to warm up because it is in the 50s or 60s by then!

Baked Beans and Apples

Another apple recipe! We are still working on our large supply of apples and loving every bite of them. This recipe came from a friend when my first two boys were about one and two years old. They were big bean lovers. We started giving them beans shortly after they started solids. They are a great source of fiber, protein, easy to prepare and economical.
